In response to some moronic comments on other postings, I disagree with those who say the show sucked. They’ve been incredible. However, people are just very, very disappointed with the lack of any show news, WHICH IN ITSELF is a testament to how OUTSTANDING the show actually is, despite its self-effacing attitude.
I soon became an Opie & Anthony fan as a result of this show. My O&A compilation now doubles the file size of my Lazlow Show collection. I love O&A to no end, but no matter how many hours upon hours I listen to, it never quite fills the hole left by The Lazlow Show.
Everyone with at least half a brain understands Lazlow is extremely busy, but I thought radio was a hobby of his? An occasional Lazlow podcast would be more than enough. If Bill Burr, a self-professed technology retard can figure out how to make some dollars off the Monday Morning Podcast, imagine what Lazlow could achieve!
Whatever happens, fuck Sirius up its rotten cunthole. Greetings from the UK!

Expect a rash of shows to crop up around the release of GTA V in an attempt to rekindle the cult Lazlow following. ESPECIALLY if Lazlow plays a large role in the game, or if he is DLC.
As Wayne says “There are 2 kinds of people, those who were in it for fun and those who did it to make money. Everything we did was to make money.”
I’d expect 3 in 4-5 months before the big launch radio tour and 3 in 4-5 months after the big launch tour. Then the show will be dead for good. Watch the trends of inconsistent shows and how they ramp up before the international tours for Bully, RDR, GTA4, etc etc. We are being used, but as long as I laugh, I don’t mind.
Besides, my heart will always be with the boys because as my mom was dying of cancer, I ordered a box set. Well, accidentally ordered 3 to which Laz emailed and I explained what I was going through and my impatience with PayPal at the time. Someone (Reed or Laz), drew a sick woman on a bed with an IV captioned “Sorry man”. So I always have that and Corporate Laz won’t be able to take that away from me.
This show means something to a lot of people. I know Corporate Laz doesn’t care (Look at how much he’s helped Couzin Ed, oh right he hasn’t), so think of the brand loyalty you’ve created. You need to sell to us, Laz.
As the dead Amanda Melson used to say, “I buy a lot of stuff… I wanna be catered too…”

5 months, 5 months since the show! Still Laz hasn’t got the balls to admit its over, have you? Even when we do get a new show it will just be a shit rehash of stuff they said in the last show because they have no new material eg Wayne gets stoned, Wayne hadn’t written his book and is still unemployed, reed likes college sports etc etc etc. I don’t want a re hash of stuff of here and the rare twitter feed.
Get a grip, be a man and say the show is done.

every one knows the show is done since it left radio, the fact that he has done some ,, shows” from time to time is because hes a good guy, and right now he is probably working his balls off on gta5, you know ? the thing that actually puts money in his wallet, so be happy that it was fun while it lasted you ungrateful fuck .

If that was the case gta would be out this year. He wasn’t too busy to guest on that other show. My guess is they got bored because they ran out of ideas.

We nearly lost the show back then in its time of glory, where they started realising how to use the equipment and the cd didn’t skip as much as it used to.

We’re lucky it survived this long, though it would be nice for an official farewell rather the silence.
As lazlow said before. This is a radio show, we ain’t doing a podcast.
If a station offered a spot, it would suprise me if they got back into it.

Yeah Sirius really fucking screwed the pooch for pulling such a move in the first place.
It was free entertainment non the less. They didn’t have to pay a dime, but well business is full greedy cunts.
For those that can’t remember what happened. When the merge between xm and Sirius went through. Sirius wanted to pretty much own everything todo with the show including the boxset sales.

I’m sure there will be shows again, there is often months and months of wait with little news.
However, like others have said, when you listen to older shows, it is incredible how much old references and material is repeated. The same references and mentions of West Side Story with the theme tune, the sharks and jets stuff, the three of them talking about something as if they had neer discussed it before (like Wayne crapping in the shower, Reed and Lazlow reacted as if they hadn’t heard the story before when they had gone through it all on a revious show, stealing cereal was another).
I’ve actually forgotten the other stuff but it’s mainly Lazlow who mentions the same shows and films, because as Reed says, he’s not very into pop culture. Lazlow’s also incredibly smarmy and cocky, it’s really hard to like him when he acts like he’s the shit, especially compared to Reed and Wayne.
I really enjoy the shows and I hope and I’m sure there will be more not too long away, but new shows having stuff you’ve heard so many times before…..it’s tiresome.
