Many people have emailed asking why the website, show, and twitter have gone dark. Those who have been following things for a few years know that before a major video game release there is a lot of work to be done and website updates and shows get sporadic if at all. we’ve been working on some cool trailers, finishing up the game, and other bits we’re really excited about. The Grand Theft Auto Episodes from Liberty City Radio Tour was a whirlwind. Big up to the Hot Boyz on Power 92 in Chicago and Chuy Gomez on KMEL in San Francisco as some standouts. All the stations were amazing. Couzin Ed was on a tour as well. Between us, we hit a bunch of stations in the US and UK – chilling with some radio shows and letting them get their hands on the game . Ed and I both directed talent for the game – and it was great working with the brilliant creative team at Rockstar North and New York to make the game happen. Response has been amazing. People love it.

Highlights from the tour include

- hanging out of a sunroof loaded in Boston
- shooting a PS-90 at a gun range in Vegas
- standing on the street in London drinking with soccer hooligans after an interview with the BBC
- Driving across Texas due to a canceled flight and visiting a truck stop with THE LARGEST BEEF/ELK/BUFFALO/ENDANGERED SPECIES JERKY DISPLAY IN THE WORLD

I’m glad to be home to blankly stare at a pile of laundry and a pile of receipts with titles like “Machine Gun Rental” and “Airport Bar” and try to piece together the last few weeks. Airport food is awesome. I had it daily, as we flew to a different city every day. And once you go through airport security every day for 3 weeks it becomes comical. They’ve somehow simultaniously recruited kids from the ghetto and retirees to do security. The geriatrics hold up the xbox and look at it like it’s a nuke. The steet kids in ill-fitting Homeland Security outfits want cheat codes for GTA. It’s hysterical.

Stealing bathroom soap

To celebrate the radio tour for GTA Episodes from Liberty City i got mad crunked in St. Louis last night and totally trashed my hotel room. i mean like, stole all the shampoo and soaps. really hardcore. That Marriott had it coming.

did the woody and rizzuto show on The Point in St. Louis this morning. They were great. On the flight back today Darrell Strawberry was in first class. We totally did some rails and spanked flight attendants on the hiney. Actually i was in coach, but i would have done rails in first class.

On launch day(Thursday morning) i’ll be on Opie and Anthony, Ron and Fez, and Covino and Rich.

Friday Oct 30th i’ll be in Boston on Toucher and Rich’s show – then flying out and in the afternoon hitting the Hot Boyz on Power 92 in Chicago. Tone and Shag do a great show and there’s a DJ spinning some mad hip hop while we flow. You know how we do.

Update – tour – New Lazlow Show in GTA

A lot of email is coming in wondering when we will post the last show we did as a downloadable quicktime. We’re dealing with the proprietary format that was recorded in the software that night and working to get it moved over. In the meantime we’re prepping for a tour that takes us across the UK and US – literally flying to a different city every day, and in some cases doing a morning show in one city and an afternoon show in another.

Episodes from Liberty City comes out for Xbox on October 29th – get the disc – there are two full GTA games on it. They are standalone games. You don’t need to own or have played GTA4. We produced a whole new Integrity show that you can hear while playing both. My character broadcasts from the streets and things get ugly. We hope you like it.

We just finished up a clip highlighting the nightclub action in Episodes from Liberty City.

Grand Theft Auto IV: The Lost and Damned comes out February 17th so we’ve been cranking on material for the website.

To kick off the launch Couzin Ed and I will be hitting the road on separate radio tours, visiting multiple cities and radio stations. Schedule to be posted soon.

Also, we are scheduled for Saturday March 14th for The Lazlow Show’s 40th episode. We’re planning on a fireworks show like the one that Great White did in their final concert.
